A great scenic drive to a relatively secluded getaway outside of Fort Collins, CO.

This is a great scenic drive to a relatively secluded getaway. While this trail may not be an all-time favorite, it’s a great hike/ride if you’re looking to escape it all and reflect on whatever… in nature. Oh and don’t forget to pack your dirt bike (cause you can).

Donner Pass Trailhead to:

Lookout Mountain Trail: 4.6 miles

Miller Fork Trail: 9.4 miles

Dunraven Trailhead: 11.5 miles
(via Bulwark Ridge)


Motorcycles are allowed on this trail as well as dogs. This is a light use trail (not a busy place).

General Regulations: Dirt bikes limited to portion of trail between County Road 44H and Donner Pass. Respect private property. Certified weed-free hay is required for stock.

Restroom: Nope – Practice Leave No Trace principles.

Water: During normal years, adequate water can be filtered and treated from nearby water sources
