How to Make Balsamic Red Wine Steak Sauce

  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the red wine, balsamic vinegar, and garlic. Ideally, this would be the skillet you just cooked your steak in, with the leftover juices still in it.
  2. Bring to a simmer, whisking occasionally, until sauce reduces in half and becomes thicker. This can take 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in the butter until completely melted. Salt and pepper to taste, if desired.
  4. Serve over your steak immediately.
  5. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to a week. Reheat in a skillet, whisking vigorously if it
    separates.
