Best Method in Pan Frying Ham

In this recipe, butter is a big part in getting the right texture with the ham.

  1. Slice ham steaks into thin strips, then cut into shorter pieces about 2″ long. Small strips = better meal.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add your butter. Once melted, add your ham strips. Cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and slightly crispy.

Ingredients

  • 1 Ham Steak, 1/2" thick
  • 2 Tbsp Butter

Instructions

  1. Slice ham steaks into thin strips, then cut into shorter pieces about 2" long.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add your butter. Once melted, add your ham strips. Cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and slightly crispy.
  3. Reemove from skillet and serve hot with a side of Fluffy Mustard Dip.
