Turmeric Coffee

I discovered this recipe while traveling in India. Local people make turmeric coffee to improve their health, calm and just relax. They believe that this drink will give longevity and young. In the hot Indian climate, turmeric helps regulate heat transfer processes and gives a feeling of coolness.
From the first sip, I feel that a spicy drink makes me peppy. Its effect is much better than coffee, especially if you drink turmeric coffee every day.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Pour chicory coffee and coconut milk into a blender, mix it.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and mix again.

Notes

Be careful - it will be hot. Open the blender cover away from yourself to avoid burns.
Instead of coconut milk, you can use soy milk, almond milk or any other. You can also add almond or nut powder, this will make the drink more nutritious.
Turmeric coffee can be drunk chilled. In hot weather, this drink will make your body feel cool if you add a few ice cubes to it. Important: you need to cook the drink hot so that the spices fully reveal their aroma. Ice is added to the already prepared turmeric coffee.
